Dr Jane Truscott - Chairperson, Bundaberg
PhD, MBA, MS, APRN-BC (USA), NP (Aust)
Dr Truscott is the Chairperson on the NAHRLS Board. Prior to working with the NAHRLS, Jane worked in a variety of clinical and management roles in Australia and the United States within acute and community health care delivery. She has a PhD in Nursing in which she examined outcomes of a nurse home visitation program model for first time, low-income mothers in the United States. Jane is currently an advisor to the Queensland Government Health Quality and Complaints Commission and has lead the development and implementation of a chronic disease management program for Indigenous Australians living in Queensland. She is a nurse practitioner with interest in chronic disease management, disease prevention and health promotion strategies in primary health care, and development and implementation of eLearning for health practitioners.
Glenn KeysGlenn Keys is the CEO and Managing Director of Aspen Medical. Glenn’s career covers a broad range of businesses, from start-up’s to US multinationals. After a distinguished career in the Australian Army, where he covered a range of tasks, from test flying to managing all elements of the logistics support for Army aircraft, Glenn was responsible for the establishment of a number of new businesses, either as start-ups or as new business units in global corporations. Glenn has worked in a number of international locations, including Europe, Indonesia and Malaysia. Glenn’s focus on customer service, coupled with detailed project management, has lead to the success of a broad range of ventures.
Paul Ekin-Smyth Paul Ekin-Smyth is the General Manager of Aspen Medical. Paul joined Aspen in January 2008. After a distinguished career in the Royal Australian Air Force, where he specialised in the management of major capital acquisitions and the provision of combat support and rose to be the senior logistics officer of the Service, he embarked on a commercial career applying the skills and experience gained in over 25 years in a variety of positions in Australia and overseas. Paul was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his distinguished military service in 2003.
